Macauley DeVun received her Grand Diploma in Culinary Arts at the French Culinary Institute in New York City in 2004. Afterwards, she apprenticed with renowned cake designer Ron Ben-Israel of Ron Ben-Israel Cakes. In New York, she learned the fine art of custom cake design and classic pastry arts. Upon moving to Houston in 2006, Macauley was immediately charmed by the architecture, flora, and culture of Texas. She finds new inspiration around her everyday, from the crisp angles of arts and crafts houses in the city to the brilliant blossoms of magnolias, bluebonnets, and jasmine that surround town. She’ll never run out of ideas to transform into a spectacular cake for your special occasion!
